Step 1: Serial numbers
With the help of a smartphone go to http://web.familinkframe.com/care. Your phone will turn into a barcode detector, scan it. You will then automatically be taken to a page where you can view and change the frame's unique email address.
Step 2: The association codes
We will send you labels with a barcode for each frame as soon as possible. This association code will identify each frame. Stick this label on one of the flaps at the back of the frame. Each frame has its own serial number and association code. To ensure that the frames work properly, refer to the list of codes we sent you with the labels.
Step 3 : Email personalization
Customize the email addresses of the frames via the Familink interface: http://web.familinkframe.com/care/list
From the web interface: http://web.familinkframe.com/care/list you will be able to invite families to send photos on a frame. Click on "invite" and enter the email address of the person you wish to invite. Once the invitation is accepted users will be able to enjoy the frame. Once you have added 1 person per frame, each of these users will then be able to add other users and will have access to the device.
Thanks to the web interface, you will be able to see all the frames you own, their serial number, their email address. You will be able to invite users to send pictures and reset the frame, in case of death or change of end user.
Step 4: Device Connectivity
After 3 months of free 3G function, if you don't want to subscribe to the 3G functionality the device will only work on WIFI. To connect to WIFI, click 8 times on the screen in less than 5 seconds, and fill in the wifi settings. IMPORTANT : Some frames arrive totally unloaded, you will then need to reboot and wait 24 hours for activation.
